Beef BBQ

Ingredients:

1 tsp vegetable oil
1 med onion
2 tbs Worcestershire sauce
1 tbs lemon juice from frozen concentrate
1 tbs honey
1 tsp Dijon mustard
¼ tsp black pepper
½ tsp salt (optional)
1 lb ground beef

Procedure:

1. Heat the oil in a 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium heat. Meanwhile, peel and halve the onion, and cut each half into thin slices, adding them to the pan as you slice. Cook the onion until soft, 2 minutes. Add the Worcestershire, lemon juice, honey, mustard, pepper, and salt (if using). Stir well, then reduce the heat to a simmer and cook until the sauce is slightly thickened, 5 minutes.

2. While the sauce simmers, cut the beef into bite-size pieces and add to the skillet. Stir well to coat the beef with sauce and just heat through. Remove from the heat.

Serve over corn bread.
