The first Dinnerbeat Food Gadget of the Month is one for the young and young at heart. For the little ones who just can’t wait ‘till the timer rings, this cute LEGO Egg Timer will keep them amused as they count the minutes ‘till those fresh-from-the oven cookies are ready!

The design is reminiscent of the classic LEGOman faces, and the three faces line up to form different expressions as it counts down the time.

According to Gizmodo’s Lightning Review, its “It's cute. It's makes a wonderful tic-tock noise. It helps you do roasted lamb and chicken and Beef Wellington and cakes. It's Lego. Really, it can't get any better than that. I only wish it could do more than one hour.”
